The Faraway Villa is situated on the peaceful and serene Lipa Noi beach. Famed for its spectacular sunsets, Lipa Noi is on the west coast of the island away from the busier east and north coast resort areas.

Faraway Villa is controlled by Faraway Weddings and used exclusively as a private venue for Faraway Wedding experiences. It's the perfect beachfront venue providing the kind of privacy and discretion synonymous with a Faraway Wedding Experience. The quiet white-sandy beach and our established and stylish gardens and stone terraces not only provide an ideal island backdrop, but also offer exceptionally functional grounds in which to perform the ceremony and hold the reception.

The villa has been renovated and improved each year to increase its specific functionality as a dedicated wedding venue. These improvements mean that the facility no longer has any means of overnight accommodation, allowing you and your guests to stay wherever suits individual needs and budgets. There's a dedicated dressing area with en-suite bathroom and hair-dressing and make-up stations to provide a comfortable and ideal preparation area for the bridal party. There's also a dressing room dedicated for the groom's party, which includes a bed in case anyone is not feeling well or if there are children who need a nap.

The concept of the Faraway Villa is to provide a stunning outdoor venue for a perfect tropical beach wedding, whilst having back-up options in times of bad weather. In most instances the wedding ceremony will take place on the beach, with the reception being held within the garden terrace where there is also a large covered sala, an outdoor bar area and a dance-floor to allow you to marry, dine and celebrate under the stars. The venue also benefits from an indoor function room with separate bar and dance-floor which provides a valuable alternative space in the event of rain; or if you would prefer to dine in an air-conditioned room. This room has a white-draped, vaulted ceiling and bi-folding glass doors facing the ocean. Other than the dressing rooms and the function room the rest of the building is taken up by staff preparation areas. The concept being that the guests enjoy the gardens and beach more than the villa itself. All our beach wedding experiences offer the use of the Faraway Villa from 12 midday, allowing time for the bridal party to arrive early and get ready in the calm and relaxed beachside atmosphere. The ceremony usually takes place at around 5pm when the heat of the sun starts to wane and just before the famous Samui sunset.

This private dedicated wedding venue creates not only an idyllic tropical beach location for a wedding, but also practical and flexible indoor areas to ensure the smooth running of the wedding, whatever the weather or the needs of wedding party.
