The Garden
![]() The garden is a multi-functional space which can be used for many things during your wedding day. Initially it is the location for the lively long drum procession, which is a festive and fun start to the wedding proceedings usually involving the groom and his groomsmen, four Thai dancers and six musicians. Guests line the garden as the procession passes them by. The garden plays quite a major role in the Buddhist ceremonies. Following the Buddhist blessing in the Sala, which is situated within the garden, the garden is used for the symbolic Buddhist practices of releasing birds, planting a tree and for the water blessing ceremony. For those who choose not to have their wedding ceremony on the beach itself, the garden provides a wonderful space for the ceremonial set-up. Surrounded by tropical plants and with the sea as a backdrop, this is the perfect setting for a wedding without having the sand beneath your feet. For most weddings at this venue the garden is primarily used for the reception dinner, allowing you to continue the outdoor theme of the wedding day by dining beneath the stars. When not being used in any ceremonial way or for dining, the garden offers an area where the guests can mingle, drink, relax and simply enjoy the location and the occasion.
